SageSTEP Research

SageSTEP is a long-term multidisciplinary experiment evaluating methods of sagebrush steppe restoration. Sagebrush communities are one of the most threatened land types in North America. More than half of sagebrush area has already been lost in the Great Basin and much that remains is in poor health. SageSTEP scientists study the effects of land management treatments to reduce the risk and uncertainty in decision making for resource managers.
