About Jon Dinkins
Jon is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences at Oregon State University. His position focuses on sagebrush wildlife ecology, which includes research and outreach through Extension. He also teaches habitat analysis courses on Corvallis campus and Ecampus. Jon’s interests include topics related to community ecology, habitat selection and quality, human-wildlife interactions, population dynamics, and wildlife behavior. Current research topics primarily focus on quantifying the effects of anthropogenic and natural disturbances on sensitive species often while simultaneously assessing community structure or interspecific interactions.
